The online Ride Calendar is much more powerful than just a calendar you can view online. You can subscribe to it with your own personal calendar application and the rides will automatically update and sync to your computer or smartphone! I will explain how to do this using Google Calendar, Outlook, iCal, and any other calendar application should be the same.
First, go to https://www.syracusehog.com/cal (Remember that shortcut if you ever need to access the calendar from anywhere you have an Internet connection).
Next, simply click the “+ Google Calendar” icon in the lower right. This will redirect you to your Google Calendar account page. It will show up under your subscriptions where you can change the name/color to your liking.
For other applications that ask for an address, use one of the following:
If it asks for an XML address, use this: https://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/gi5gjcuhsd1f06j7puceos8v9s%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic
If it asks for an .ical file, use this: https://www.google.com/calendar/ical/gi5gjcuhsd1f06j7puceos8v9s%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics
If it only needs an HTML address, use this: https://www.google.com/calendar/embed?src=gi5gjcuhsd1f06j7puceos8v9s%40group.calendar.google.com&ctz=America/New_York
Once you have subscribed to the calendar with your computer application, you can then sync it to your smartphone with a calendar app. You may enter one of the URLs above directly into your smartphone app and that should work as well.
Hope this helps!
